Raimo is almost 50 and was born in Elundu but grew up in Okongo until the missionaries came.  His mother is still alive
and she lives in Omuhahi, west of Ekoka.  He went to school in Okongo, married quite young and then his wife and first child died.  The same thing happened with his 2nd marriage too.  In 1993 he moved to Ekoka when the government took over
the land management and met Maria, his current wife.  Together they have three children. He is happy to be apart of the art project and his drawing, linocut and painting skills are all improving.
