Judy Bumstead

My work falls into two main groups. Inside paintings and outside paintings. 

The out paintings of the veld, gardens, landscapes and houses are untidy representational work. Working in moving sunlight encourages speed and improvisation. I have many other series, too many to mention. Most work is in oil or mixed media (I am very fond of junk, especially rusted metal and wire)

My pictures could be described as eurocentric, representational, domestic, post-pop colonial eclectic painting and construction.
